El Potrero Chico (EPC) is located just outside the quaint town of Hidalgo, Mexico. The climbing ranges from five star single pitch routes up to 23 pitches. The multipitch climbing is a great way to get off the ground quickly. With easy travel, short approaches, spectacular views, and cheap tacos, there is not much more you could ask for in a climbing area. The warm weather makes EPC a great winter vacation. We offer private guiding whether you are looking to climb outside for the first time or want to push yourself on a long multi pitch route.

Cost
Rates are based off of a ratio of the number of climbers to the number of guides. For multi-pitch climbs, the highest ratio that we work at is 2:1. Ratios 3:1 and higher are only available for single pitch climbing. Prices are per person per day

Please note that food, travel and lodging is not included in the cost. We can work with you to organize travel. We are also happy to provide recommendations for food and lodging which is quite affordable in Hidalgo.
